Finance
Finance is an exciting and interesting field of study, which can open new career opportunities as well as provide useful personal money management strategies. Students receive a sound theoretical foundation upon which practical applications are built. A finance student will learn about the components of the financial system and how it impacts upon financial decisions in an organisation by studying financial institutions and markets, and business finance.
The Finance programme at Massey University (Palmerston North and Albany Campuses) was recently ranked 12th out of 170 Asia-Pacific Universities for the quality of our Finance research. Studying Finance at Massey means you will be learning from, and researching with, some of the best finance academics in the world.
Aviation Management was designed to provide human factor, aviation psychology and aviation management competencies particularly relevant for candidates entering the aviation industry, or for those already employed in aviation (with or without professional licences) but with no previous tertiary qualifications. The goal for most of these candidates is to obtain a dedicated aviation qualification which will prepare them for a management role within an organisation, or to provide the academic disciplines which will enable them to be more effective in that role.
